School Field Trips

We've made planning your trip to the zoo easy - you can even sign up on-line. From reservations to parking, we've put together information that will answer many of your questions.

The day of your visit can go smoothly with information on entry to the zoo, lunch, lost children and more. We do ask that you follow a few zoo regulations. These rules are in place for the safety of all our visitors and of course, our animal residents.

ZooKeys and research stations, as well as other services, can enhance your educational experience. Classroom resources are available to use before, during and after your trip. You can continue your experience off zoo grounds with teacher training and school assemblies.

Zoo Regulations

Respect the animals

  • Chaperones must remain with students at all times.
  • Do not tease or feed the animals, rap on glass, or throw objects into exhibits.
  • Visitors should remain on the pathways. Do not climb onto or cross over any barriers.
  • The zoo is open to general visitors in addition to school groups. Please be respectful of other visitors.
